iMessage with PQ3
I am a volunteer for civil society organizations (CSOs) aimed at improving their digital security and safe office operations.
ကျွန်တော်တို့လက်ရှိသုံးနေတဲ့ Internet ပေါ်မှာ Secure ဖြစ်စေဖို့ Cryptographic Protocol တွေသုံးပြီးကာကွယ်ထားကြတယ် .. ဥပမာ - iMessage ကနေ အပြန်အလှန်စကားပြောတာတွေကို ကြားထဲကနေ ဖောက်ကြည့်လို့မရအောင် End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) နဲ့ ကာကွယ်ထားကြတယ် ဒါပေမယ့်အခုခေတ်နောက်ပိုင်း Quantum Computer တွေပေါ်လာပြီး Computing Power အရမ်းကောင်းလာတော့ လက်ရှိသုံးနေတဲ့ Cryptographic Protocol တွေကို Brute Forcing လုပ်ပြီး ချိုးဖောက်လို့ရလာတယ်။
Quantum Computer တွေက General Public အတွက်သုံးလို့မရသေးပေမယ့် နိုင်ငံကြီးတွေရဲ့ Government တွေမှာရှိနေနိုင်လောက်ပြီ .. ဒီလို Hack လုပ်လို့ရလာတော့ မလုံခြုံတော့ဘူးပေါ့။
ဒါကြောင့် Company တွေက Quantum Computer နဲ့ Break လုပ်လို့မရတဲ့ Protocol တွေဖန်တီးဖို့ကြိုးစားလာကြတယ်။
ဒီ Protocol တွေကို Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) နဲ့ဖန်တီးကြတယ် Apple အသစ်မိတ်ဆက်လိုက်တဲ့ Protocol က Level 3 အဆင့်ရှိပြီး PQC တွေထဲ လုံခြုံရေးအကောင်းဆုံး Protocol တစ်ခုလို့ပြောတယ်။
iOS 17.4 ကစပြီး iMessage တွေမှာ PQ3 Protocol သုံးတော့မှာမို့လို့ iMessage ဟာ Signal ထက်တောင်ပိုလုံခြုံတဲ့ ကမ္ဘာ့လုံခြုံရေးအကောင်းဆုံး Communication Platform တွေထဲကတစ်ခုဖြစ်လာပါပြီ။
